About Us
Meet Rod and Melody
We are Rod and Melody a professional couple based in Salt Lake City, Utah. We married in 2017 and created a “put together” family with 6 boys (4 his, 2 hers). We spent most of our lives working hard, raising kids and taking care of family.
With our more than full time non-remote careers we soon realized we needed a better plan to carve out time to stay connected. We pulled out our “105 Places” list, took out the calendar and set aside 7 days each quarter for non-work related travel.

Since then we have fallen in love with cruising because it allows us to explore more than one place in a single vacation with the added benefit of some forced downtime to relax and clear our minds. We have experienced some amazing adventures, from snorkeling with whale sharks, to exploring lava caves on the islands of Maui, Hawai’i and Lanzarote, Spain. We have climbed cathedral towers in Palma de Mallorca, Spain and basked in the jeweled light of the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia We happened to be in London on the day Queen Elizabeth II passed away.

Our passion is travel, exploring new places, finding new experiences. We spend a lot of our free time finding the next adventure. We do all the research, what gear to pack, how to get there, what to do, and where to eat. We even find a “good read”. Then, we go do it and share it with you. We hope that when you are planning your next trip, our guides, videos and book list will inspire you to create and experience your own “105 Places”.
