Cruise ships take you to many places in one vacation. We love cruising for many reasons. You unpack your bags once and wake up every day in a new place. A cruise allows you to disconnect from you hectic life, slow down and reconnect with your VIPs. There is no stress on finding dining options, or entertainment after a busy day on shore. The cruise ship has it all and that is why we designated cruise ships as a place on our list.
Full time, non-remote careers make the weekend getaway a necessary part of our travel plans. For us traveling in the states is like a “stay-cation” We do the research, visit and then share with you ideas for your itinerary, what to eat, what to pack and how to get around.
According to Wikipedia there are 16 countries and 12 dependencies in the Caribbean. What does that mean for us? There are a lot of islands, islets, reefs and cays to explore close to home. We explore many of these islands in just one day from the cruise port and share the excursions with you.
Europe is a “little” further from home and when we commit to a longer vacation we pack the itinerary with don’t miss places. We share gear guides, how to get places, where to stay, what to eat and how to slow down and enjoy yourself. After all, you’ve come a long way!
Rod speaks fluent Spanish which makes travel in Central and South America simple. He loves engaging in conversations with locals to get a better insight to real life in these places. When you speak the language, people love to spill the beans. We share with you not only the excursion tips, but what the locals say behind the scenes.
We always thought Alaska and Canada were just mountains and snow, not unlike Utah. Did you know there are rain forests there too?
